Week 4 - random
On the 14th of august, my visual arts group made a trip to BiG Hotel's Art Space as they have really interesting artsy fartsy stuffs there for us to explore and take photos of. I managed to capture some photos when we were there. The hotel was just opposite Campus one with just a walk away.
Image I managed to take from my own view of the hotel's signage. It looks modern yet classy and gives off that artsy vibe even if anyone just passes by it without stepping inside.
this was the photo of the hotel's lobby. it does not seem like a hotel at all because it is just too artistic and homely.
this was one group shot that we had to take. that's me and Gloria at the side holding bags of art friend items haha.
Back to creative thinking class, this was taken during class in week 4 if I did not remember wrongly. we were working on our mah-jong paper, the second mind map. The second mind map was more organised and it looks neater at the first glance. we had fun doing the second one was our illustrations was much better and we were more creative when doing the second one as compared to when we were working on the first one. we went over to Nathania's hostel to get the work done. We did it quite fast as we got the details planned nicely and we got to work real fast. it was another time for bonding and sessions of fun and laughter, and being creative as a group.
Our First mind-map for the 101 ways to save the earth.
this was our final work and I am quite satisfied with our overall result. doing a group work isn't easy if we do not cooperate and find time to meet up and do our work together. Group work like these allows me to learn from one another and make use of our individual creativity to make things better. I am thankful that my group members accept each and every ideas that we come up with and this made everything so much easier. Our work may not be the best and the most creative or the nicest piece, but our efforts and creativity definitely counts.
