Week 8 - Exercise 2 (Natural objects that has influenced form of luxurious target )

  Some products is a modest source and it has influenced the form of a luxurious target. Objects that are made from natural products like natural object like tree which gives us wood or feathers given from birds or peacocks. These are natural source of object for us to be able to have many items today.

Here are some examples that I have found.

Wood allows us to have many man made objects. Like this table. Which can be used in living rooms or as a eating table. Wood is a resilient and strong material and it is often used in many furniture.

 This is a small cupboard that is part of my home's TV console. It is made up of wood as well and it is given a polish of lacquer to look bright and smooth looking. Most of the furniture we have in our homes are made up from wood.

This is a dining chair that is made up of wood for the whole chair except the seat itself. This chair is good because it can last for many years without being spoiled. This goes to show what natural object like wood can do.

This is my dining table and it is made up of wood again. It is hardy and very resilient. whatever weight we put on wooden tables, they will not collapse so easily. Wood is a really reliable source of material that we can rely on.

 

                                This is the original metal element that is being used in many objects.

A HDB flat gate that is made of metal as well. Most gates that people uses are made of metal. it is sturdy and good. especially for locks.

 

I went to the zoo last year and fortunately managed to snap this picture of a random peacock that walked past us. Peacock feathers are being used to make earrings.

A pair of peacock earrings that my grandmother has. This goes to show how much natural objects can do.
